About the event

Come enjoy an afternoon   showcasing the rich and diverse musical heritage of Baroque composers who lived and worked in South America, including both European immigrants and the first generation of South American-born composers. Many of these works, preserved in small manuscript collections in South American archives and cathedrals, are only now becoming accessible beyond their   countries of origin.


Learn about the culture and heritage before you hear the music! A lecture will precede the concert at 3:15 PM
