The Lute Society of America North Carolina Chapter and SaSa Sounds presents: “Pluck Lot Fest” A Pot luck for Lute and Classical Guitar players. A weekend filled with masterclasses, ensemble playing, open mics, fellowship, food and concerts.

Who can attend?

Players of any age and at any level that own a lute, vihuela or baroque or classical guitar.

Attendees are welcome to join online or in person.

PLUCK LOT FEST DAY 1:

9:00 a.m. Participants Welcome: meet and greet, instrument share, tuning, ensemble confirmation (ensembles organized in advance), orientation. Coffee/Tea and pastries provided.

10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Laudon Schuett Technical warm up (30 min) and Master Class.

12:00-1:00 p.m. Lunch

1:00-2:00 p.m. Hybrid Pluck Lot Social. In person participants interact with in person and online participants.

2:00-3:00 p.m. Jocelyn Nelson’s lecture.

3:00-3:15 Break

3:15-4:15 p.m. Ensembles. Lead by SaSa & Kate Oliphant. All levels and instruments are welcome.

4:30-5:30 p.m. Neal Shipe Lecture/Recital: Scottish music.
